What has the world come to? I'm not sure either, so lets talk about something else. ( :

If you are like me, you really enjoy fun clothing. If you are even more like me, you like clothing that has a bold message that proclaims the glory for Christ, while being modest. If you are A LOT like me, then you are a HUGE fan of C28: Not of this World clothing.

The slogan for C28's clothing brand company is: "Bold Christian Apparel." This name gives it justice, because all of the "Not of this World" clothing has a strong message on every T-shirt. [Other brands are sold on C28 like Truth Soul Armor, Ezekiel, Soul Dog, Sanctify, and One Truth.] I love the messages that these T-shirts offer for Christians, and many times while wearing these products I have been asked about the message the T-shirt talks about. If that isn't and invitation to share the gospel I don't know what is!

C28 is also known for sponsoring Christian artists such as Fireflight, Seventh Day Slumber, Decyfer Down, Wavory, Moi, Manic Drive, and a few others. You will see many of these artists wearing C28 clothing at their concerts.

I greatly recommend C28 products, specifically Not of this World [notw]. If you aren't a T-shirt person, take a look at the jewelry products, jeans, shoes, stickers, books, music, and DVDs.

Hey Friends!

I have finally had a moment to update my blog. I am sure that as the summer goes on I will be able to update this blog more often. I pray that you are all doing well. (:

I would like to share with you all a poem that I wrote this year. The poem talks about the prolife movement. I'm not really sure what else to say about it, so please write me some comments about what you think. It isn't exactly the most well done poem that has ever been written, but I am going to share it with you all anyway. Enjoy!

Defense of the Timid Knight

Tell me life has no value,
And I will say that life is pure gold.
Why should life have no value?
Mere men did not give life value.
They shall not take that value away.
Do not utter the words, “A fetus is not a child.”
Your words are a mockery to your own flesh.
These words shall surely kill the morality of America.
Slowly as molten lava sliding down a volcano,
Surly shall the death of morality come.
Soon this molten lava shall encompass pure gold.
How long can the knights of life hide in darkness?
Silence.
Keep your voices down.
Silence.
Don’t tell anyone what we know.
Silence.
Keep the light hidden from them.
Crash!
Break the silence.
Knights armed with a doubled edged sword,
Remove this bowl off your marble stand!
Let the light speak to the world.
Let the light give value to life.
You were not given the sword to be timid.
Do not let another child pass away form you.
Hold your banner high.
Let words be your weapon.
No words of men can challenge the world.
Only words from God can persuade the harden heart.
Pick up your arms unbreakable mortals.
Stand.
Let your voice be heard.
Rise.
Chosen generation, meet this challenge.
Go.
Never return to your timid ways, as those who do not know the Living God.
Speak.
Tell His Story for the world to hear.
Tell them:
Stop Killing My Generation.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is my stronghold of life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my advarsaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Through an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.

"When all around me starts to fall, and when my faith it seems so small; even in my darkest hour I will believe. Even if the sun begins to fall, even when I feel nothing at all, Even if im all alone, I WILL BELIEVE,"

Im not really sure why this verse and song fit together, but they do in my eyes. It seems that we always think that in order to get through life you have to have a game face and always be well presented and prepared. I have been resently wondering if that is true or not. I havent been walking the earth for that long, but I have found that it is often in the moments of brokeness that make the most impact. Im gonna guess that you saying, "well, OVIOUSLY EMILY! It makes the most impact because brokeness stinks.." [and I know thats EXACTLY what you where thinking!] When we feel like the world is falling around us, its often in those moments we cling to the Lord. We fall into a sweet surrender that leads us to Him. In those momments we give our problems to Him who wants us to be free of them. I cant help but marvel about that.

I love the last line of verse 3. yet I will be confident. Confidence can be a hard thing to come by these days [or at least it is for me....]. Im glad that it is in the Lord we can rely on for strength and salvation and not on things that will let us down.

This is the cover of a book written by Alex and Brett Harris [to be released April 15th]. This book is for teens who are sick of the low expectaitions this world throws on us. I personally share their frustration and am eager to share their ministry with you.

'Do Hard Things' is the challenge the Harris brothers send to this generation of teens. Helloooo!
Happy almost Thanksgiving! Does anyone have any cool plans? We just hang out at home all day....(:

In my life I find that I am so grateful for the diligence of Christ. NO matter what we are going through He will ALWAYS be there. He is the only one that we need. It amazes me how much I need Him. I am grateful that I can rely on Him and have Him be in control of my life and not me!!!! what are you grateful for?
